No, you do not have to leave your house. I’ve gotten in great, maybe even better, workouts at home than at the gym. You can go as hard as you want if you have gym anxiety and also go at your own pace! I know a lot of people hate going to the gym, and there is no reason you should dread working out. That’s why there is a wonderful thing on the internet called YouTube.
YouTube actually has amazing workouts. From HIIT workouts to yoga to weightlifting, you’d be surprised at how fit you can get without a gym membership. Some of these you don’t even need equipment! So are you ready to get fit AF if you’re lazy AF?
The Fitness Marshall is my go to whenever I don’t feel like actually working out, but I feel like sweating my ass off! You think dancing isn’t a workout? Put on The Fitness Marshall’s videos and then tell me! The Fitness Marshall consists of three people: Caleb Marshall, who is the leading man, and his ‘backup booties’ Haley and Bria. They’re all BFFs and their chemistry is so contagious! If you want to have fun while working out, this is for you.
Wanna grow a booty while at home? Get abs while you’re at it? Seriously, Whitney Simmons has the best workout videos. A lot of her videos are targeted towards the gym, but she has a ton of HIIT, leg, arm and ab workouts that are just used with a dumbbell or no equipment at all. It’s super easy to do these exercises from home, and she’ll get you sore and fit in no time!
If you’ve never heard of Tone It Up, are you even on the internet? Tone It Up consists of two women, Karena and Katrina, whose job is to empower women through health and fitness. Not only do they have amazing workouts that you can do literally anywhere, with or without equipment, but they have an amazing nutrition program that will help show your abs in no time! I love their HIIT workouts if I’m short on time, or just wanna sweat everything out!
Fitness Blender has 4.2 million subscribers on YouTube, and for good reasons. Not only do they have every single type of workout you could ever want, but their workouts are super informative as well. If you don’t have an activity tracker, all of their videos show how many calories you’ll be burning at that exact moment. From yoga, to cardio without machines, to HIIT, to boxing workouts, Fitness Blender has everything you’ll ever need to get fit at home.
Blogilates doesn’t look hard, but damn, it is hard. Seriously if I want my muscles to burn during the workout and hurt the next day, I’ll put on a Blogilates workout. Her muffin top workouts make you so sore the next day you can hardly move! She’s a pro at pilates, and also a pro at being super confident and making you feel the same way.
Sarah’s Day is a YouTube vlogger who is obsessed with health and fitness. Although she doesn’t always upload workout videos, when she does, they’re hard AF. Like myself, she’s super into high intensity training, and functional training which means low to no equipment. If you’re running short on time and just want to sweat, Sarah is your girl.
Want a ton of options? Like the way celebrities train? POPSUGAR Fitness is for you then. If I don’t want to go to a class but want a specific workout like boxing, or barre, or even just a full body workout, I will go straight to POPSUGAR Fitness. Their boxing classes are unreal and leave me sore for daaays. They’re the best if you like options, and they do a ton of videos with celebrity trainers or Instagram fitness stars like Anna Victoria!
Yoga With Adriene is exactly what it sounds like… Yoga With Adriene. Although it’s much more than that. Adriene, who is a yoga instructor, teaches you the ins and outs of yoga from home and makes you feel like you’ve just gone to a yoga class. The best part about her videos is you need no equipment, and if you really don’t feel like venturing out to a yoga class, you can still get the same experience at home. She has videos for everything from yoga for headaches, to yoga for menstrual cramps, to yoga for weight loss.
Chloe Ting is my girl if I want to do a sweaty workout with no equipment. A ton of her workouts are high intensity, and almost all of them require 0 equipment. She also does her workouts with you in real time, so you don’t feel like it’s longer than you thought it was. She has great workouts and is super informative, and also vlogs what she eats to get her insane body!
